What is a Patch?
A patch is a "text version" of a specific configuration made in order to get a specific sound.
What is Editor Librarian
When your connection is ok (Guitar, Unit, Pc) Editor Librarian is a product software (download here) which facilitate the manipulation of the unit. It also allows to translate settings of your unit into "text version" (copying a patch from Editor Librarian) and translate a "text version" into settings for unit (pasting a patch on Editor Librarian). The clipboard is a specific area of memory of our pc which is used to store a patch when we want to put a patch on Editor Librarian or get it from there.
How to Copy and Paste Patches
I make an example :
You realize a good setting on your Unit (directly or using Editor Librarian) that emulate Stive Vai sound.
You want "extrapolate" it from the unit and send it to one of your friend so that he can use it on his unit.
Use Editor Librarian (with connection ok... and online), select the Stive Vai patch and execute the command "copy patch to clipboard".
You can write an e-mail to your friend making the common command "paste" on e-mail area and the patch (text version) will appear.
Your friend receives the mail and has to transfer that "text version" on his unit using Editor Librarian. Simple : he selects the "text version", copy it , goes on Editor Librarian and executes the command "Paste from clipboard" .. if his connection is ok (and "online") he can play and hear the Steve Vai sound.

This site is a "place" where guitar players, owners of unit G7 / G9 ZooM , can SHARE patches.
Here you can look for a patch , COPY it , and PASTE it on Editor Librarian.
It's important to remember that posting patches is essential for the good working of this site..so that all users can find more patches..so please Post! :D
Patches are organized by Artist : this attribute indicates the name of the Artist that the patch attempts to emulate. It is also possible that a patch doeosn’t emulate any Artist because it's just a personal specific sound that a user created. Patches that don't emulate artists are collected under Artist Users.
How to use this site
First of all you need to be registered. It's free.
To register you have to compile a simple form where you have to express your Nick , Password and a valid e-mail.
You'll receive a mail with a link inside and clicking on it you’ll confirm your registration.
When you confirm your registration you are automatically logged-in.
Then you are ready to enjoy yourself with our patches ...and we would like to enjoy ourselves with yours! ;)
